The restaurant was visited on Thursday, 3rd May 2007 in the evening.
The food ordered was: Chutney Tray, Popadums, Chicken Roll starter, Mixed Combo Starter, Goa Chicken main, Chicken Pasanda main, Pilau Rice, Peshwari Nan.
Quality of food
Everything tastes fresh and is very well presented.
Quality of service
As this is our local, we eat here often and the staff go out of their way to make it a relaxing visit, they even remeber to bring your favourite accompaniments without having to ask and they remember just how you like each meal!
Variety on menu
Even the classics are not run of the mill, the specials always make it difficult to choose as you arrive with a taste for ordering one thing and a quick look over the menu makes you want to order many others.
Decor & ambience
A two tier restaurant with a pond separating the tiers and lots of greenery to make sure you have privacy should you want, the music is very authentic and right up to date.
Location
On the edge of town so no traffic battles to contend with no matter whether it is a weekend or weekday. A carpark with CCTV makes the visit so much easier.
Cost
For the quality of food, the service provided by the staff and the free CCTV car parking provided - they could charge a whole lot more. Excellent Value.
In summary
A must visit restaurant, the owner and staff provide a professional yet personal service. Very relaxed atmosphere and staff remember your name on your return visit. Excellent menu and recommendations by the staff never fail to impress. Chef is very flexible and will adapt a meal should you have any particular requirements. If you want to chill out after your meal, refills of coffee are brought over to you as you sit at your table or head over to the lounge area. A taste of Modern Day Indian Cuisine.
