Restaurant Reviews
COAST (kalkan, Turkey)
1 review, average rating: 91%
The restaurant was visited on Tuesday, 2nd May 2006 in the evening.
The food ordered was: Chicken Satay for starter , then Turkish Manti which is like ravioli and finally Hos Meruim for dessert which is an old Turkish dish made from nuts and cream............umm lovely.
Quality of food
All dishes served with individuality and well presented. All three courses were tasty and filling (too filling !!).
Quality of service
Lovely waiters ( young and handsome ) but not leary !
Variety on menu
The menu was select but varied from Thai to Turkish with French and Italian and Indian dishes too. I went with a group and between us we had food from 6 countries including Mexico and Morrocco and India.
Decor & ambience
Modern and stylish with wooden decking and comfy sofa style seating. Fab views of the Med and Kalkan harbour.
Location
centre of Kalkan.
Cost
average not too expensive but not cheap but then you get what you pay for !
In summary
Great atmosphere, Kalkan can be a bit dull in terms of restaurant design and menu choice but Coast really is something else! Modern attitude to design, decor and foods. WE all loved it and will definately be back !
