Restaurant Reviews
Jaflong (Woking, England)
1 review, average rating: 82%
A takeaway was eaten on Monday, 28th Apr 2003 in the evening.
The food ordered was: Monipuri Lamb, Special Fried Rice, Keema Nan.
Quality of food
The Monipuri Lamb was excellent well balanced with spices though slightly too hot for my tast.
Special Fried Rice and Keema Nan were both excellent.
Quality of service
Friendly and prompt service , very accomodating when I mentioned I have a mushroom allergy.
Variety on menu
All the usual standards plus some very good house specials.
Decor & ambience
Slightly Rundown but kept clean and tidy.
Location
Easy enough to find as its just around the corner from the "Safeway" supermarket and free parking is available right outside.
Cost
Good value, previous visits have gained meals for 2 persons for less than £20.
In summary
Well worth a visit, accomodating friendly staff, free delivery service and good value food.
As a newcomer to Woking I was dreading having to find a new curry house however the Jaflong was recomended by my boss who makes a regular 20 mile round trip to get a curry there and was well worth the recomendation.
